Benefits of Brunel University London Excellence Scholarships

Undergraduate Applicant: £ 6,000 (6.975 euros) tuition fee exemption, each year for a maximum of three years. The scholarship will be paid once for each eligible level of study, provided that the normal progression criteria have been met (no additional payment will be made in a repeated year, regardless of the reason for repetition).

Master candidate: £ 6,000 as tuition waiver applied to first year of study only.

In total, 60 scholarships are available.


Applicants for an international scholarship must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Must be a non-UK citizen.
  • Must have an offer to study in a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught program from September 2021 or January 2022.
  • Must complete the correct “register your interest form” scholarship (APPLY button) by the specified deadline.
  • All applicants must fulfill all the conditions of their offer at the time of registering with Brunel.

How to apply

First, you need to apply for a bachelor’s or master’s degree program through the Brunel University portal. All full-time undergraduate course requests should be made through UCAS. You will just need the course code from the corresponding course page (here for undergraduate programs, here for postgraduate programs).

Applicants who fail to secure an International Excellence Scholarship of £ 6,000 may be considered for other award opportunities as part of the International Excellence Program, if applicable.

Applicants will be notified by July 2021 for entry in September 2021 and by December 2021 for entry in January 2022. The scholarship will then be officially awarded in September or January (depending on applicants’ start date), after receipt of the examination results.
