One of the most anticipated scholarships programs in France is finally available. The Excellence Initiative (Idex) Université Grenoble Alpes is calling for applications for the 2023 Master’s scholarships program.
The Idex Université Grenoble Alpes program aims to bring together the strengths of public higher education in Grenoble and Valence to create a world-class university with a strong international influence.

FINANCING : 8,000 euros / year

Benefits of IDEX Grenoble Alpes Scholarships
The amount of the scholarship is:
- 8,000 euros for one academic year (2 semesters).
- 5,000 euros if one of the two semesters is dedicated to an internship.

Available Master programs
95 master’s programs are eligible for this call. All areas are available. You can find the complete list of these programs here (in the “Diploma” section choose “Master”) of which 89 are taught in French.

Eligibility
Applications for the Grenoble Alpes Master’s scholarships program are open to foreign students (i.e. students currently enrolled, or graduated, in a university outside France).
Grenoble Alpes scholarships application procedures
The application process is as follows:
- The student must first apply for one of the masters offered by the aforementioned academic institutions. The application must relate to the 2023-2024 academic year. Note that each Master has its application deadline.
- The University will select the students for the Idex scholarship
- The results of the masters scholarships will be sent shortly after the admission results for the masters to which the student has applied.
