Le Mans University (Le Mans, France) and the ESEO group (Angers, France) offer scholarships for the International Master in Electroacoustics (IMDEA) for the 2021-2022 academic year.
This Master program is supported by the EMV foundation (Institut de France, Paris, France) and it is almost unique in Europe for learning the electroacoustic.
Any french or foreign student under 30 years old and holds at least a B.Sc. (Bachelor of Sciences, Licence) in electronics or acoustics or any related field can apply by completing the scholarship application form included in the IMDEA application form (the “APPLY” button below).
As all courses are taught in English, applicants must prove proficiency in English (upper intermediate academic English level) by providing official supporting documents. Native English speakers are exempt.
Benefits of IMDEA and OROSOUND scholarships
In total, 6 scholarships are available for the 2021-2022 academic year:
IMDEA scholarship: The scholarship will be awarded for a period of one year. 4 scholarships are awarded (2 in Master 1 and 2 in Master 2). The annual amount of the scholarship is €7,000 per student and per academic year.
OROSOUND scholarship: This scholarship will be awarded to 2 female candidates (1 in Master 1 and 1 in Master 2) in order to improve the gender balance in IMDEA (most of our applicants are men).
Master 1 scholarships can be renewed for Master 2 under certain conditions listed in the dedicated application form.
Female applicants can apply for both the IMDEA scholarship and the OROSOUND scholarship, but can only get one scholarship.
You must first contact [email protected] and express your interest in the program. You will receive a login and password for a private area (an evaluation test). You must, then, follow these 3 steps:
- Step 1 : Complete the online scientific assessment test (login details will be provided by email). A minimum score of 50% is required to access stage 2.
- Step 2 : Complete the online motivation test. The test results will then be reviewed by the admissions’ committee who will decide if you can proceed to step 3.
- Step 3 : Complete the registration form and return it with the required supporting documents.
Applicants who have gone through the 3 stages of the application process can apply for a scholarship.
The Master program (Master 1 + Master 2) will start in September 2021 and end in June 2023. The application deadline is May 21, 2021, for non-European applicants and 11 June 2021 for European applicants.
