The Admission Department at Qatar University (QU) announced the opening of admission application for graduate programs for the spring 2023 semester and for the QU Scholarship From August 27th to October 5th, 2023.
Qatar University (QU) is a public research university located on the northern outskirts of Doha, Qatar. It is the only public university in the country. The University offers a wide range of study programs: 32 masters, 13 PhD, and a doctorate in pharmacy (PharmD). Research is an integral part of the Qatar University environment. It is strengthened by the state-of-the-art research complex and 17 research centers of excellence and by more than 500 collaborative projects in more than 130 countries.

Qatar University scholarships will cover all expenses, including airfare. This scholarship program aims to recruit international students with outstanding academic performance.

Selected candidates for the Qatar University scholarship will have the following benefits:
- Tuition waiver.
- Exemption from textbook fees.
- QR 500 ($137) monthly salary.
- Student accommodation (two students per room).
- Transportation to/from campus.
- Annual return airfare.
- Residence permit under the sponsorship of Qatar University.

Eligibility Criteria
Admission to the various masters and doctoral programs at Qatar University is extremely competitive. Application requirements and deadlines differ by program. Students must meet all admission requirements and deadlines.
PhD’s degree:
- A completed master’s degree with a GPA of at least 3.0 GPA.
Master’s degree :
- A bachelor’s degree or higher obtained with a GPA of at least 2.8.
How to Apply for Qatar University scholarship?
The application for the scholarship is done after getting a letter of admission from Qatar University. If you are accepted to a master, PhD, or doctor of pharmacy program, you will receive, by email, a link to the scholarship application.
To apply for a degree program offered by Qatar University, follow these steps:
- Create an account with a username and password.
- Complete the online admission’s application at your pace.
- Upload the documents before the admission deadline.
Applicants who do not meet the requirements for a student visa will not be considered for admission to Qatar University.
However, you can track the status of your admission’s application by visiting the Online Admissions Application page, using your username (ID) and password (PIN).
The deadline to submit all required documents, including official transcripts and test results, is October 5th, 2023.
