1. MO Ibrahim Foundation Scholarships
The Ibrahim Leadership Fellowship was established in 2011 to identify and mentor the future generation of outstanding African leaders. Each year, three scholarship recipients are selected. Each scholarship is worth $100,000.

2. Pan-African University Scholarships
The Pan-African University Scholarship Program is an initiative of the Heads of State and Government of the African Union. The Pan-African University Scholarship Program provides funding to cover all expenses of applicants during their studies.

3. Chevening
The Chevening program, of the UK government, offers a unique opportunity for students around the world to grow professionally and academically. Chevening offers full financial support to scholars to pursue a masters course of their choice at an eligible UK university.

4. AAUW Fellowships for Women
AAUW scholarships are open to women worldwide and in any field of study at the Masters, Doctoral or Post-Doctoral level. It offers support to women who intend to pursue full-time studies in the United States and who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

5. Swiss Government Scholarships
Each year, the Swiss government awards excellence scholarships to promote international exchanges between Switzerland and more than 180 other countries. Swiss government scholarships are aimed at young foreign students who want to carry out their master’s or doctoral studies, or conduct their research in Switzerland.

6. IMT Atlantic Excellence Scholarship in France
All students admitted to an M.Sc. program will be considered for the IMT Atlantic Excellence Scholarship granted as a partial tuition fee waiver, without having to provide a separate scholarship application.

7. Qatar University Scholarships
Qatar University scholarships will cover all your expenses, including airfare. This scholarship program aims to recruit international students with outstanding academic performance.

8. University of Melbourne Scholarships
The UNIMELB scholarship program provides more than 1600 scholarships for international students to study undergraduate, masters, or PhD in any field.

9. KAIST Scholarships in South Korea
The KAIST scholarship is offered to support talented international students who wish to pursue their masters or doctoral studies. KAIST offers courses in multiple disciplines, through its five colleges.

10. KAUST Fellowships in Saudi Ariabia
KAUST is an international academic research institution founded in 2006, on the outskirts of Jeddah. KAUST is the first mixed educational university in the kingdom, its campus covers 36 km² on the shores of the Red Sea. It is ranked 27th in the QS WUR Rankings by Subject in 2022. 97% of teaching staff are international in KAUST.

11. Government of Japan Internship Program
You can participate in this program either remotely or in-office. Foreigners with sufficient skills and knowledge, currently living in one of the countries on the OECD DAC list, are eligible to participate.

12. Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellowship Program
The program offers five-month fellowships for practitioners to improve strategies and techniques for building democracy abroad, and five-month fellowships for scholars to conduct original research for publication.

13. World Bank Group Young Professionals Program
The World Bank Group Young Professionals Program (WBG YPP) is a two-year leadership development program at the start of a five-year employment contract. Chosen young professionals begin the program in Washington, DC, where they engage in intensive training.

14. Mandela Washington Fellowship
The Mandela Washington Fellowship is a program of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) of the United States government. The Mandela Washington Fellowship will bring up to 700 young African leaders to the United States in the summer of 2023 for a comprehensive executive-style program designed to build skills.

15. Khalifa University Scholarships in the U.A.E
Khalifa University is a research-intensive university with three colleges, three research institutes, 18 research centers and 17 departments covering a wide range of disciplines in science, engineering, and medicine.

16. McCall MacBain Scholarships in Canada

17. Knight-Hennessy at Stanford University
The Knight-Hennessy Scholarship Program will admit 100 high-achieving students each year who have demonstrated leadership and civic engagement. Fellows will receive funding for three years to pursue a master’s or PhD degree, or professional program accompanied by training in leadership, innovation, and other curricula designed to develop fellows’ ability to lead ambitious changes in a complex world.

18. University of Paris International dual PhD degree
A thesis co-supervision is a training project allowing a doctoral student to carry out his research/study work while being supervised jointly by two supervisors in two different establishments.

19. Schwarzman Scholarships to Study in China
The Schwarzman Scholarship Program annually supports up to 200 students from around the world to undertake their master’s degree for one year at Tsinghua University in Beijing.

20. DAAD EPOS Scholarships in Germany
The DAAD, in Germany, is the world’s largest funding organization for the international exchange of students and researchers. This fully funded government scholarship program offers you the opportunity to continue your academic education in Germany as part of a master’s study program.

21. University of Sydney Scholarships
The University of Sydney International Scholarship is valued at $35,629 per year. The scholarship helps cover tuition fees and living expenses.

The Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships program provides funding to the best postdoctoral candidates, Canadian and non-Canadian, who will contribute positively to Canada’s economic and social growth and research.

24. Mohamed Bin Zayed University Scholarship
Applicants from all countries and nationalities are welcome. Admission and acceptance to the Mohamed Bin Zayed University Scholarships will be based on a high academic standard and merit. All admitted students, without distinction, are granted, from their acceptance, a full scholarship.

25. Science by Women in Spain
The program’s goal is to enable African women researchers to play a leading role in the transition of Africa to a knowledge-based and innovation-led economy through research that can be transferred into products, processes, services, and technologies having impact on people’s lives.

26. Hubert H. Humphrey in the U.S.A
The program offers mid-career professionals from designated countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Europe, and Eurasia the opportunity to improve their professional capacities by participating in specialized 10-month programs.

27. Eiffel Excellence Scholarships
The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program is funded by the French government. The program allows French higher education institutions to attract the best foreign students to enroll in their master’s and doctoral programs.

28. Master Mind in Belgium

29. Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation
The Foundation’s Leadership Program aims to empower Scholars to have a meaningful impact on their institutions and communities. It does this by equipping Scholars with key leadership skills, instilling in them values crucial for engaged leaders, such as engagement with a plurality of perspectives, community service, boldness, and innovation.

30. China Government CSC Scholarships
The Chinese government scholarship programs provide funds to international students, teachers, and scholars to undertake studies (bachelor, master, and PhD), study Chinese language or conduct academic research in institutions of higher education in China.

31. Holland Scholarships
The Netherlands Scholarship is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science as well as several Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences. The scholarship amounts to €5,000. The Holland scholarship is intended for international students outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who wish to do their bachelor’s or master’s degree in the Netherlands.

32. Orange Knowledge
The Orange Knowledge program aims to contribute to the sustainable and inclusive development of a society. Its scholarships are open to mid-career professionals in specific countries.
The scholarships are available for a selection of short courses (duration from 2 weeks to 12 months) and master programs (duration from 12 to 24 months).

33. Swedish government scholarships
The SI Fellowship for International Professionals is a program funded by the Swedish government. 34. “Invest Your Talent In Italy” scholarships
These Italian scholarships are awarded for Masters courses at Italian higher education institutes that are part of the “Invest your talents in Italy” program. The program also includes a compulsory internship in selected Italian companies that are partners of the initiative.

35. Russian Government Scholarships
The program aims to recruit talented foreign students who wish to enroll in master’s and doctoral programs in Russia.

36. Government of Ireland Scholarship Program
The Government of Ireland Scholarship Program consists of two sub-programs: the Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Program and the Government of Ireland Postdoctoral Fellowship Program.
These programs support suitably qualified research master’s, doctoral and postdoctoral candidates pursuing, or intending to pursue, full-time research in any discipline.

37. Türkiye bursary for International Students
Türkiye bursary offers full funding to study at bachelor’s, master’s, PhD or research level at any Turkish university. The program not only offers funding to selected applicants, but also covers the process of preparation and placement in universities. Each year, 150,000 applications are filed from different countries around the world.

38. The Gates Scholarships Program
Each year, Gates Cambridge offers 80 fully funded scholarships to pursue a full-time postgraduate degree (Masters or PhD) in any field of study available at the University of Cambridge. About two-thirds of these scholarships will be offered to doctoral students. Approximately 25 scholarships will be available for US students and 55 for students from the rest of the world.

39. University of Helsinki Scholarships in Finland
The scholarship is intended for excellent students from outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland who wish to complete a master’s program at the University of Helsinki. The university is in the top 1% of research universities in the world and is often ranked among the top 100 universities.

40. UNIL Master Scholarships in Switzerland
