ETH is an internationally renowned technical university located in Zurich, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mastere.tn\/en\/switzerland-scholarships\/\">Switzerland<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The main purpose of the E4D scholarships is to enhance the knowledge and skills of future leaders with a view to contributing to capacity building and poverty reduction in their home countries. They are funded by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sawirisfoundation.org\/\">Sawiris Foundation<\/a> for Social Development and the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eda.admin.ch\/eda\/en\/fdfa.html\"> Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\" \"><p>Twenty Nobel laureates have been professors or have studied at ETH.<cite>Wikipedia<\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>About the E4D scholarships at ETH<\/h2>\n<p><strong>LEVEL :<\/strong> MAS, DAS, CAS (continuing education).<br \/>\n<strong>DEADLINE :<\/strong> April 30, 2023.<br \/>\n<strong>FUNDING :<\/strong> Fully funded.<br \/>\n<strong>TARGET GROUP :<\/strong> See list below.<br \/>\n<strong>COUNTRY :<\/strong> Switzerland.<br \/>\n<strong>HOST INSTITUTION :<\/strong> Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich (ETH).<\/p>\n<h2>Amount of the E4D scholarships<\/h2>\n<p>The E4D scholarships at ETH Zurich cover the following expenses:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Round trip economy ticket (max. A MAS offers a minimum of <strong>60 ECTS credits<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sce.ethz.ch\/en\/programmes-and-courses.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Full list of eligible MAS courses at ETHZ and their duration.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) :<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>A DAS (Diploma of Advanced Studies) is awarded at the end of a course of at least <strong>250 hours of classroom training<\/strong>, plus <strong>several hours of personal work<\/strong>, an assessment of knowledge and, in most cases, a thesis. It offers between <strong>30 and 59 ECTS credits<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sce.ethz.ch\/en\/programmes-and-courses.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Full list of eligible DAS courses at ETHZ and their duration.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) :<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>A CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies) is awarded at the end of a course of at least <strong>120 hours of classroom training<\/strong>, plus <strong>hours of personal work<\/strong>, an assessment of knowledge and, in some cases, a thesis. It offers between <strong>10 and 29 ECTS credits<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sce.ethz.ch\/en\/programmes-and-courses.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Full list of eligible CAS courses at ETHZ and their duration.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\t\t<div class=\"box info  \">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"box-inner-block\">\n\t\t\t\t<span class=\"fa tie-shortcode-boxicon\"><\/span>Do not confuse a master&#8217;s degree with an MAS, DAS or CAS. <strong>These are not master programs, they are continuing education programs.<\/strong> Admission to MAS, DAS and CAS programs usually requires a Master&#8217;s degree.\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\n<h2>How do I apply for an E4D scholarship?<\/h2>\n<p>The application process consists of <strong>two steps<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lehrbetrieb.ethz.ch\/eApply\/ealogin.view?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Apply for an MAS, DAS or CAS program<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Once admitted to the MAS, DAS or CAS program, <a href=\"https:\/\/eth4d.ethz.ch\/funding-opportunities\/E4D-Scholarships.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Apply to the E4D scholarships program.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Candidates applying to an MAS, DAS or CAS program will receive an answer 2 to 4 weeks after the submission of a complete application.<\/p>\n<p>During your application, you will be asked to provide the following documents:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\n<li>CV (max.2 pages).<\/li>\n<li>Master&#8217;s degree or diploma and transcripts.<\/li>\n<li>A 1-2 page cover letter stating your motivation for participating in the E4D program and its impact on your career development.<\/li>\n<li>Two professional letters of recommendation<\/li>\n<li>Official letter of admission to an MAS, DAS or CAS program.<\/li>\n<li>Work certificate. The work certificate letter should be sent to the E4D program office (<a href=\"mailto:e4d@sl.ethz.ch\">e4d@sl.ethz.ch<\/a>) directly through the employer (not by
