Eligibility for the ERA Green Hydrogen Scholarship

Post-doctoral researchers focusing on Green Hydrogen (GH2) are eligible to apply. Applicants should be interested in joining one of the following working groups:

  • Production
  • Transport and Infrastructure
  • Market Stimulation
  • Cross-cutting Issues

Post-doctoral researchers from universities in the following countries can apply:

Scholarship Benefits

The ERA Green Hydrogen program funds research projects or continued academic training at public or state-recognized higher education institutions in Germany. Key benefits include:

  • Monthly Allowance: 2,800 euros
  • Insurance Coverage: Health, accident, and personal liability
  • Travel Expenses: Lump sum for international travel

Additional Benefits :

  • Disability or Chronic Illness: Subsidy for additional costs not covered by other funders
  • Environmentally Friendly Travel: Support or partial reimbursement of carbon offset payments for air travel
  • Conference Attendance: Subsidy for attending a conference

Funding Duration

The DAAD ERA Green Hydrogen scholarship is available for 1 to 18 months.
