Applications for the Eiffel France Scholarship at the University of Orléans for the academic year 2024-2025 are now open. The deadline for applying is November 17, 2023. The University of Orléans funds three categories under the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship for 2024: Master’s, Engineering, and PhD.
The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship program is aimed at international students whose outstanding academic performance has been recognized by French higher education institutions eager to welcome them for further studies.
The Eiffel France Scholarship program at the University of Orléans includes two categories:
- A Master’s Category, which provides funding for a master’s or engineering degree program lasting from 12 to 36 months.
- A Doctorate Category, which provides funding for mobility periods ranging from 6 to a maximum of 36 months, within the framework of joint supervision or thesis co-direction.

How to Submit an Application?
Master and Engineering Categories
To apply for the Eiffel Scholarship at the University of Orléans, follow these steps:
- Download and fill out the following form: univ-orleans.fr/formulaire_EIFFEL.docx (Word document). Save it as “LASTNAME_Firstname_EIFFEL_Form.docx.”
- Compile the following documents into a single PDF file, named “LASTNAME_Firstname_Supporting-Documents-Eiffel-UO”:
- Your CV.
- A letter of motivation or description of your professional project.
- Transcripts for the last three years, with an official translation if necessary.
- Document(s) confirming your ranking in the class, at least for the previous year. However, your application will have a better chance of success if you can provide your ranking throughout your academic history.
- Send both documents (the form and the PDF) in a single email to [email protected]. Use “Application LASTNAME Firstname Eiffel Scholarship UO” as the email subject.
Doctorate Category
- For candidates in their first year of a doctoral program and newcomers, the scholarship duration is 36 months. You must find a supervisor before December 8, 2023. Contact the doctoral school corresponding to your research area: University of Orléans Doctoral Schools.
- For candidates already in the midst of their doctoral program under joint supervision or co-direction, the scholarship duration is 6 to 18 months, depending on the year of registration.
In both cases, it is the supervisor who will support your application by contacting [email protected].
If your application is supported, you will be contacted by the University of Orléans to complete the full application on the Campus France platform.
