How to Apply for University of Waterloo Scholarships
To apply for a master’s or PhD program at the University of Waterloo in Canada, please follow the steps below:
- Review the list of graduate programs at the University of Waterloo and check your eligibility.
- Create an application account using this link: https://grad.apply.uwaterloo.ca/apply/.
- Select your program(s) of study and fill out the required application information.
- Pay the non-refundable application fee of $125 CAD per program.
- You will receive an email from the University of Waterloo with instructions on how to access QUEST, the university’s student information system.
- Use your QUEST account to upload your application documents, update your contact information, check your admission decision, and, if applicable, view/accept/decline your admission offer.
Required documents
during your application, you will be asked to upload the following documents :
- Transcripts of your previous studies.

- Additional information sheet (provided once you start the application).
