It’s almost the end of the year, and what better than a compilation of the best scholarships available right now. This time the list includes scholarships in Belgium, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Finland, France, Sweden, Switzerland, United States of America, China, Ireland, Germany, and Austria (hopefully I forgot nothing). 1. Finnish Government Master Scholarship

The Finnish Government Scholarship covers the full first year tuition fees, in addition to a one-time allowance worth at least €5,000. The tuition waiver and the allowance may or may not be renewed for the second year, depending on the university.

  • DEADLINE: January 4-18, 2023 (“joint” procedure), or until January 2, 2023 (“separate” procedure).

2. French Government Eiffel Scholarships

Eiffel scholarship holders receive: a monthly allowance of €1,181 for the master’s level, or €1,400 for the doctoral level. In addition to the stipend, the program offers various other benefits like accommodation, airfare, etc.

3. ANSO Scholarships for Young Talent

The ANSO scholarship supports 200 master’s students and 300 doctoral students each year to pursue their studies at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) or the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS).

4. Government of Ireland International Scholarships

The Irish government will award for one year of study: a stipend of €10,000 and full exemption from registration and tuition fees. A total of 60 scholarships will be awarded for one year of study at masters or doctoral level.

5. Kofi Annan Fellowship in Public Health Leadership

Africa CDC will provide all learning and development materials and cover all costs associated with the fellowship, including but not limited to travel, per diem and insurance during residential placements. Fellows will be supported to ensure they have the necessary software for online learning.

6. GSK Scholarships for Future Health Leaders

Three GSK scholarships are available for the 2023-2024 academic year. Each scholarship will cover: tuition fees, including the cost of field trips and a tax-free stipend of GBP 19,500 ($23,950).

7. University of Turku Bachelor and Master Scholarships

The University of Turku scholarship covers tuition fees (worth €2,000-12,000). It will be granted to up to 30% of admitted students from countries outside the European Union.

8. PGSM Paris Master scholarships for International Students

The winners selected for an M1 receive a 12-month scholarship in the 1st year and 10 or 12 months in the second year. They will receive a grant of up to €1,100/month. The program also pays for their social security coverage under the student scheme and their university registration fees.

9. Geneva Academy Scholarships for International Students

The Academy of Geneva offers two types of scholarships: a fully funded scholarship and a partially funded one. Partial scholarships cover tuition fees. Full scholarships cover tuition fees and living expenses in Geneva for 10 months.

10. Vienna BioCenter Summer School

11. Ampere Excellence Scholarships

The Ampere Excellence Scholarship from ENS de Lyon awards 1,000 euros/month to accepted candidates. If the candidate is selected at the M1 level, the scholarship is renewable for 12 months in M2.

12. University of Paris SMARTS-UP Scholarships Program

Winners will receive a scholarship of €8,000. The SMARTS-UP scholarship from the University of Paris is an aid for your studies. You will need to provide another source of income to cover expenses during your stay.

13. ARES Scholarships Program for International Students

14. Holland Scholarships for International Students

15. SBW Berlin Scholarship for International Students

The SBW Berlin scholarship program includes: tuition fee waiver, accommodation, monthly stipend up to 550 Euro, travel allowance, German or English language course, if required. There are a total of 20 scholarships.

16. LabEx Milyon scholarships

Candidates selected under this program will receive 1,000 euros net/month, over a period of 10 months from September 2023 to June 2024 and for two years.

17. Science@Leuven Scholarship Program

The amount of the scholarship can be up to 10,000 euros for one year. The scholarship will still cover tuition for one year, insurance, and basic health coverage. The amount awarded for living expenses may vary.

18. CERN Summer Student Program

Every summer, CERN organizes an eight to thirteen week program for undergraduate and master’s students specializing in fields related to physics, engineering, computer science or mathematics. The CERN Internship is a fully funded program.

22. University of Twente Scholarships (UTS)

The Twente University Scholarship is a scholarship for excellent students from non-EU/EEA countries, applying for a postgraduate program (Masters). You must first apply for a master’s program. Once you have applied for a master’s program and received a (conditional) admission letter, you can apply for the scholarship.

23. TWAS-IsDB Postdoctoral Fellowship Program

Early-career researchers from the 21 least developed member countries of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) are eligible for an ambitious new postdoctoral programme offered by IsDB and TWAS. The fellowships support research related to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, providing recipients with high-level training in areas relevant to sustainability science.

24. Chinese Government Scholarship

The program is open to undergraduates, postgraduates, and scholars. It is designed to fund talented international students who are directly selected and recommended by designated Chinese universities. 26. Think Big undergraduate award

If you apply for this scholarship, you will automatically be considered for any other University of Bristol International Scholarship for which you are eligible. You do not need to submit two separate applications.

27. Swedish Council for Higher Education Scholarships
